O tema da Saúde perdeu terreno ao longo da campanha a favor do "Joe the plumber", o combate à crise finançeira, a política externa.
No último discurso proferido na Florida, precisamente a catorze dias da ida às urnas, Barack Obama fez uma curta referência ao seu "health care plan".
My health care plan will make sure insurance companies can´t discriminate against those who are sick and those who need care the most.
If you have health insurance the only thing that changes is we´re going to lower your premiums.
But if you don´t have health insurance, you´ll be able to by tke same kind of health insurance that member of Congress,including John McCain give themeselves.
And we´ll invest in preventive care and new techonology to finally lower the cost of health care for families and businesses and the entire economy.
That´s the change we need.
